Candace Payne's Chewbacca Mom video has amassed an astonishing amount of views on Facebook, and as a token of appreciation and celebration of that fact, Facebook head Mark Zuckerberg invited the social media star to their Facebook Headquarters.
Facebook posted some photos from Payne's visit on their account, saying: "We invited Candace Payne -- whose Chewbacca mask video got 141 million views and is now the most-watched Facebook Live video ever -- to come by Facebook HQ today. And we had a fun surprise for her!"
That surprise was a day out with Chewbacca around the campus, and three photos of the two in action accompanied the post.
The first sees the pair riding bicycles around the complex, with Chewy seemingly delighted with his two-wheeled transportation. You'd think he would be upset that it wasn't the Millennium Falcon, but different strokes for different folks I guess. The second photo shows the two hanging out around the Facebook Headquarters sign, on 1 Facebook Way. The third and final photo shows the two enjoying a nice expresso together, with Payne rapping a Facebook mug and Chewy opting for a traditional espresso cup.
This has been quite a whirlwind for Payne, as she's recently made the trip to The Late Late Show and met Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens Director JJ Abrams, and has an upcoming meeting with Chewbacca Actor Peter Mayhew at the Dallas Fan Expo. Pretty astounding for a one-off purchase at her local Kohl's, but that one purchase seems to have brought her and many others around the world a great deal of joy.
