Lego Reveals Adventure Time Ideas Set

Earlier this year Lego announced that fan favorite show Adventure Time was on its way to an official Lego release, courtesy of aBetterMonkey, who submitted his version of the set to Lego's Idea campaign.

While the previous version contained 15 characters, the new photo only shows 8 characters (via Brothers Brick), which include Finn, Jake, Ice King, Princess Bubblegum, BMO, Lady Rainicorn, Marceline the Vampire Queen, and Gunter. Whether this is only part of the set or if some were trimmed isn't clear, but the figures on display, especially Lady Rainicorn, capture the show's look perfectly.

The set will be available in January of next year, but no word on price yet.

Lego continues to build its Adventure Time empire, as it has already announced that the much-loved show is being implemented into their toys to life game Lego Dimensions. The cartoon also spawned its own real life card game, called Card Wars, and is releasing a special Card Wars DVD special on July 12th. Things don't show any sign of slowing down for Adventure Time.
