Pokemon Go news continues to come in at an insane pace, and it's easy to miss some of the week's top Pokemon stories. In case you've missed any of this week's Pokemon news, ComicBook.com is here to help. Every week, our team of experts sit down to recap all of the big Pokemon news in the "This Week in Pokemon" show. This week's episode covers both last week's Pokemon Sun and Moon announcements and all the big news coming out of SDCC.

The week's biggest Pokemon Go story was John Hanke's SDCC announcement that trading would be added to Pokemon Go in a future update. Hanke, the CEO of Niantic Labs, also confirmed that Legendary Pokemon would be released at special events held worldwide, but not until the game was released globally. We also detailed how spawning in Pokemon Go worked, including details on the Pokemon nests that always seem to spit out the same Pokemon. Yesterday, Pokemon Go quietly made some big changes to the game, nerfing some of the game's most effective moves and changing how players will battle. Finally, we learned about Pokemon Go's next big update, which includes trainer customization and more.

Be sure to keep an eye on ComicBook.com, as new info for Pokemon Sun and Moon will be released on August 1st. We'll have all the details then!
