Even going into its 10th season, CBS's Big Bang Theory is still the uncontested top comedy on television, and it's no surprise that the network wants to keep the successful show on the air.

The only problem is that Big Bang Theory is entering the final year of its renewal deal, so Warner Bros. TV would need to negotiate new deals with both the studio and the cast to keep the show around (via Deadline).

CBS Entertainment President Glenn Geller recently touched on the subject and sounded very confident that a deal will eventually get done on both fronts.

"We are very confident that everyone involved wants more Big Bang beyond Year 10, and we know that Warner Bros. will make these deals," he said.

Getting both deals done won't be cheap, especially when it comes to the cast. Kaley Cuoco (Penny), Jim Parsons (Sheldon), and Johnny Galecki (Leonard) are all making about $1 million per episode, while Kunal Nayyar (Raj) and Simon Helberg (Howard) are making around $750,000 per episode. The two newest members of the group, Melissa Rauch (Bernadette) and Mayim Bialik (Amy) will be making right around $100,000 per episode in season 10.

Fans at least know that they'll have one more season of The Big Bang Theory to enjoy which will feature the introduction of Penny's mom, played by actress Katey Sagal.

The Big Bang Theory will return to CBS on October 3rd.
