Doctor Who: Class Spin-Off Episode Stills Released

On Saturday, the first two episode of BBC's Class will go live on BBC3 for UK fans peruse. The series will stand as the newest spin-off of the Doctor Who series. Fans have been looking forward to the series since Torchwood flickered out, and now, a slew of still images from the first two episodes of Class have hit the Internet.

The first episode, which is titled "For Tonight We Might Die," shows several interesting photos of The Doctor cameoing on Class. The images depict Peter Capaldi's Time Lord next to the series' first big baddie, Shadow Kin. The imposing alien creature can be seen with charred skin and bright, orange details - and that's all not to mention is lethal twin swords.

However, the stills do little to depict the Shadow Kin as a threat to the Doctor. Instead, the two are seen standing next to each other in a decorated room where Coal Hill Academy is putting on its prom. Fans already know how dangerous the monster can be after the show's trailer debuted, so it will be interesting to see why the Twelfth Doctor is so chill around the destructive alien.

The first episode also shared stills of Miss Quill, who is played by Katherine Kelly, as she wanders about a mysterious room. Fans can see that the TARDIS is sitting in the back of the room, and there are pillars in the room filled with odd, extraterrestrial knick-knacks. She is joined by a student named Charlie so is seen checking out the room's memorabilia, so it seems the two may have stumbled upon the trove or been taken there by the Doctor himself.

Images for the second episode of Class were also released ahead of the series premiere. "The Coach With The Dragon Tattoo" will apparently feature one very buff actor who'll play the episodes antagonist. Pictures were shared of a man - presumably the school's coach - which show off his ornate oriental tattoos.

"For Tonight We Might Die:" It's a new term at Coal Hill Academy, and students are preparing for their Autumn Prom. But when the school comes under attack from the monstrous Shadow Kin, four alienated students must form an unlikely alliance to defeat them.

"Coach With The Dragon Tattoo:" Following the tragic events at the Prom, a devastated Ram isolates himself from the other three as he struggles with his new reality. Desperate to hold himself together on the football pitch, when he thinks he witnesses someone getting skinned alive he's convinced he's cracking up.
