The WWE's Daniel Bryan was just given some devastating news.

Earlier this year, the 35-year-old wrestler announced that his in-ring career was over. However, rumors of a comeback were fueled after a furious interaction between Bryan and the Miz went down.

As Bryan had been holding on to the hope that he would once be able to return to the ring after consulting a different set of doctors about his condition, the four-time heavyweight champion now knows for sure that it will never happen.

Bryan's doctor told him that there "isn't a chance" that he will be able to get back into the ring with the WWE. On Wednesday's episode of Total Bellas on E!, Brie Bella told her sister Nikki Bella about the heartbreaking news.

"This morning we got a phone call from those doctors that Bryan went to go see, they had bad news," Brie said. "And I really think Bryan thought that he was gonna get back into the ring and the doctors said that there isn't a chance."

"He's just not in a good place," Brie said while talking to Nikki. "Ever since he had his surgeries, to losing his dad, to then losing his carrer…I just think Bryan's been holding so much inside."

Check out the clip below from Total Bellas to see the conversation where Brie broke the bad news to her sister Nikki.

Towards the end of the clip, Nikki says that it's been "hard" on Bryan. She then adds that he just "needs to go home."

"Holy s--t!" Nikki said in response. "This is crazy."

Before Bryan announced his retirement, he suffered from seizures arises from multiple concussions and a brain lesion, according to Daily Star. He also suffered several undiagnosed concussions before his WWE career.

During Bryan's short reign in the WWE, he became a champion in the ring and outside the arena he married Brie Bella in a stunning ceremony. Days later, his father died and the bad news just kept coming. He had to undergo neck surgery and relinquish the WWE World Championship as he was sidelined for almost a year.

Bryan's days in the ring may be over, but he will continue to work for the WWE as the general manager of the Smackdown brand.

What are your thoughts about Daniel Bryan not being able to wrestle in the WWE again?
