Emilia Clarke, better known as Daenerys Targaryen on HBO's Game of Thrones, will be joining the upcoming Han Solo solo film from directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller.

StarWars.com has announced that the actress will join previously announced cast Alden Ehrenreich and Donald Glover, who will play Han Solo and Lando Calrissian respectively, in the Star Wars standalone film that's set for release in 2018. The film will take place before the events of the first Star Wars film, so it's unclear exactly what role she'll play. Only time will tell.

Although Clarke plays the fan-favorite Daenerys in the epic Game of Thrones series, she hasn't found quite the same success on the big screen, especially after the underseen Terminator Genisys, so starring in a Star Wars film sounds like just the right opportunity to become a household name.

Will Clarke play the Mother of Dewbacks? Will Clarke's character claim that Han is her "Moon and Death Star"? Let us know in the comments who you think Clarke could play!
