The production of Aquaman is making some serious waves across the entertainment industry, as the James Wan film is gearing up to begin production very soon.
While Jason Momoa has already portrayed the character in the upcoming Justice League film, it looks like he's putting in even more work to prepare for his solo outing.
A video surfaced on Instagram this week of Momoa working on some combat training for the movie. From the looks of it, he may be channeling is inner-Khal Drogo to make some magic happen with his trident.
As if fight scenes in movies aren't already difficult, many of the Aquaman scenes will likely take place underwater. That can only add to the stress and fatigue of the process, so it looks like Momoa is undergoing even more training to ensure that everything goes swimmingly.
Let us know how pumped you are about Justice League and Aquaman's debut below with our anticipation rankings!
In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder, from a screenplay by Chris Terrio, and features an ensemble cast that includes Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Ciarán Hinds, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons and Jesse Eisenberg.
