Supergirl: Martian Manhunter And Livewire Concept Art
Conceptual artist Alan Villanueva (Ender's Game, Pain & Gain) has released costume illustrations [...]
Martian Manhunter
"The Martian Manhunter, he's so powerful that it's almost too powerful for like a weekly series, like with all the things he could do," executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said during a February press event. "If we really deployed him at his full comic book power arsenal, no one would be able to pull anything off of anybody. I mean, he's super strong, he can fly, he can phase through matter and he can read minds," Kreisberg added. "I mean good luck trying to pull one over on him."

"Heres my concept for Livewire," Villanueva wrote. "This jacket was really fun to paint, incorporating wiring, lights and tech." He adds, "Costume Design by: Kiersten Ronning."
Next time we see Livewire, she very well could be fighting alongside her former nemesis: Supergirl. After the Girl of Steel rescued her from a rogue scientist that abducted, tortured, and drained siphoned her abilities for his wannabe Livewires, it appeared as though Livewire rediscovered a part of her humanity. Perhaps, Supergirl will turn to her during the Season 2 finale?

"Part of the massive creative under taking in making this show is the design and fabrication for our costumes," co-executive producer Larry Teng shared. "Our incredibly talented designer Kiersten Ronning and her dedicated team perform daily miracles. This is the original concept art by [Alan Villanueva] for the Master Jailer costume."
prevnextReactron
It's definitely not the shining, gold, totally finished look of Reactron from the comics. This guy looks more like somebody who either just got their powers, or who has been living underground for a while and had to cobble together a suit.
