The stunning Gal Gadot will be front and center as the amazon warrior Wonder Woman makes the jump to the big screen, and her latest magazine cover is equally as stunning.
Wonder Woman graces the cover of Cinema Teaser for the May issue, and to say the cover is gorgeous is frankly underselling it. A beautiful blue and tan wash fills the background as Wonder Woman stands ready for war in the middle with her shield and sword at the ready. The issue hits newsstands in France on May 12. You can view the new image in the gallery.
As for Gadot, she recently described the best part about playing the famous hero, saying "The best part... somehow I think that I always wished to play Wonder Woman without even knowing it myself," Gadot told the assembled press. "Eight years ago when I just became an actress I used to travel to Los Angeles and take general meetings with different producers, different writers, directors, and they kept on asking me the same question over and over again: 'What's your dream role?' And I kept on saying I'm open to all genres as long as the story is interesting enough, but if you're really asking what would I like to do is show the stronger side of women because I feel that there's not enough stories being told about strong women, an independent woman, and little did I know that five years later I land the part."
You can find the synopsis below. Wonder Woman currently enjoys a 4.05 out of 5 on ComicBook.com's anticipation rankings.
