This Pokemon Designer Watch is One of a Kind and Insanely Expensive

Did you ever want a watch that says both "I'm a Pokemon fan" and "I'm filthy rich?" Well, watchmaker RJ-Romain Jerome has the watch for you! The custom Swiss watch manufacturer recently announced a new custom piece featuring over a dozen Pokemon.

RJ-Romain Jermone recently announced a new collaboration with the Pokemon Company to design a one of a kind "Tourbillon Pokemon" watch. The watch face is filled with enamel Pokemon with Pikachu as its centerpiece. Each piece of the watch is custom designed with Pokemon in mind. Not only is the bridge of the watch shaped like a lightning bolt in recognition of Pikachu, the oscillating weight that helps the watch run is shaped like the back of a Pikachu. The watch's back is also laser engraved with images of Pokemon like Squirtle, Umbreon, and Lucario. The watch is protected by a strong steel case and a sapphire crystal face, so don't expect it to break in battle anytime soon.

However, the Tourbillon Pokemon watch isn't cheap. The watch is selling for 200,000 pounds (or about $260,000) as it took hundreds of hours to make by hand. There's also only one Tourbillon Pokemon watch in existence, so don't expect to actually see this expensive wristpiece in stores anytime soon.

RJ-Romain Jermone previously crafted a (marginally) less expensive Pokemon-themed watch last year featuring Pikachu. That watch, which was made to celebrate Pokemon's 20th anniversary, cost a mere $20,000.
