iZombie Recap with Spoilers - Return of the Dead Guy

The episode begins with Mr. Boss sneaking into his ex-wife's house. He steals some things and leaves.

Major is in bed with Shawna, the fan letter girl. He gets a call from Ravi, who asks him to tell Liv that he needs to go out of town for a few days. It's then revealed that Ravi is actually spending the next few days with the zombie truthers, who are holding Don E hostage and live-streaming it.

Liv reads an article about Baracus saving his son at the benefit. She asks Peyton if she's going into work today, so she can have the place to herself. Peyton agrees, as long as Liv eats Weckler's brain to help her figure out more about the case. Liv agrees.

Blaine runs his brain-dealing business. He figures out that Don E ate some of the veteran brain.

Don E begins acting off of the veteran brains, to the confusion of the zombie truthers.

Liv has Peyton pretend to be a dominatrix to trigger a vision from Weckler's brain. She gets a vision of Weckler killing Roxanne in a moment of panic.

Liv begins hallucinating Drake, her ex boyfriend. She realizes that Weckler hallucinated his dead wife because he felt guilty about causing her death, the way Liv feels about Drake.

Major bonds more with Shawna. She records a video of him singing and uploads it online.

Ravi explains the situation to Don E, and gives him a vial of the cure so he won't 'zombie out' on the livestream.

Liv explores the morgue, musing about Drake's body. She pulls a body out of storage and finds Drake. She begins talking to Drake, until Clive and Peyton walk in. Liv gets another vision - of Weckler getting hanged, proving that he was murdered by a guard at the jail.

Peyton finds a recording of Weckler calling his daughter before he died. The three of them agree to track it down. Liv convinces Clive and Peyton to go to dinner, so she can have the place to herself.

Liv and Justin begin hooking up. Liv gets distracted by Drake. She explains the situation to Justin, but it ruins the mood.

Mr. Boss barges into the funeral home, shooting Blaine repeatedly. He and Candy zombie out and get the upper hand over Mr. Boss.

Liv goes over to Major's place to get the key to Ravi's supply closet. She awkwardly meets Shawna.

Clive tells Liv that they've found another prisoner who can ID Weckler's killer, but they aren't sure if they can trust him.

Liv and Clive figure out that the prisoner was someone they put away, who vividly remembers getting beaten up by Liv. Peyton gets him back on topic, and he IDs the guard - Gary Oberman.

Liv and Clive arrive at Gary's house, and discover that Gary's wake is currently going on. They question Gary's wife, who says that Gary fell overboard while on a cruise, and that he thought the prisoners in the jail are 'human garbage.' Clive gets info about Weckler's daughter.

Ravi and one of the truthers discuss where zombies come from. Ravi distracts the truther and shoots him with a vial. He goes over to Don E and tries to get his phone, but Don E tries to eat him in the process. Ravi gets the phone and calls Liv, but he can't remember her number. He calls Blaine, as Don E has his number programmed into his phone.

Mr. Boss wakes up in a casket to find Blaine eating a brain. Blaine reveals that he's a zombie, but Boss doesn't believe him. Blaine gets the call from Ravi and answers it. Ravi begs Blaine to get there to rescue them, but he turns his attention back to Mr. Boss. He offers to let Boss live, if he listens to his business pitch.

Harley arrives back at the bunker with Rachel, the girl from the truthers meeting.

Blaine tries to convince Boss to join in on his brain enterprise. Boss stabs Blaine in the neck, causing Blaine to go full zombie. He threatens Boss into being his international brains dealer.

Liv and Clive find Weckler's daughter, Tatum, staying at a friend's house. They tell her that Weckler didn't really kill himself. Tatum explains that she knew her dad had hallucinations, but is hesitant the entire time. As Liv and Clive leave, Tatum and her friend talk about how they know Liv is a zombie, and they eat from tubes of brain paste.

Liv gets ready for another date with Justin, but gets distracted by Drake. She explains why she's been avoiding the fact that she had to kill him, and reconciles with what's happened. She gives him a goodbye kiss, but Peyton and Justin walk in. Liv leaves for her date with Justin.

Liv is in bed with Justin, and is woken up by a knock at the door. It's Blaine, asking if she wants to kick ass with him.

Harley and the other truthers get ready for Don E to turn full zombie, while Rachel and Ravi watch in horror.

Blaine and Liv sit outside the gun range. They injure each other until they turn full zombie.

Ravi tries to stop Harley from torturing Don E, saying that he needs more time to study him. Harley and the other truthers get ready to shoot Ravi.
