It has been some weeks since Whit has said that there is a mortal that is stronger than a God of Destruction. However, since that point in time fans have been speculating who that mortal is. Is it Jiren? His name has been thrown around quite a bit since Whis mentioned this before the Tournament of Power began.

However, in a recent manga slide it might have been revealed who that mortal is or at least where he is from. As fans already know, that God of Destruction of that said universe this mortal lives in has a God of Destruction that is stronger than Beerus. However, Beerus denies this and said that this God of Destruction has only ever beaten him in an arm wrestle. In this manga strip it is revealed who that God of Destruction is.

It has been revealed that the God of Destruction that is said to be stronger than Beerus is Quitela, who is god of Universe 2. Now it's not Quitela who is the mortal Whis is talking about, it is just that this mortal must be from Universe 2, as that is the universe's God of Destruction that beat Beerus in an arm wrestle. In addition, it isn't clear if that mean this mortal is in the Tournament of Power or not, it's just that this mortal is likely in Universe 2.

However, this also doesn't mean that Beerus hasn't lost to more than one God of Destruction in an arm wrestle, it just menas that the one Whis was talking about was most likely Quitela from what we know.
