In her feature film debut, Daisy Ridley portrayed the newest great warrior in the Star Wars universe. But for all of her strengths, Rey still has some weaknesses to overcome.

While speaking with Ridley at the media junket for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, I asked the actor what she thinks Rey's biggest flaws were. Listen to her response in the video above.

"I don't think she has a flaw. I don't think of people in terms of flaws," said Ridley. "I was actually having this discussion with my dad, because I was like, you know, people go to the hair dresser to get their hair done, people go to the gym to get their bodies done. You can always work on your stuff, just if you can't see it. You can work on jealousy or anger or whatever it is.

"So I don't think that's a flaw, I think it's room for growth."

Ridley spoke about her character as if Rey is still a child, pointing out that some of youthful traits would benefit her in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

"And I think anything that might be the thing that people go *scoffs* with kids, if they're stubborn, if they're willful, serves her very well in this film. So I don't think that's a flaw," Ridley said.

Even though she's been isolated her whole life, Rey has had the benefit of being mentored by Han Solo in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. And in the new movie, she will be trained in the ways of the Force by Luke Skywalker.

When asked who is the better mentor for Rey between the two, Ridley wouldn't answer but instead pointed out how her character's expectations of them differs.

"When she met Han, it was all sort of an accident and she wasn't seeking answers from him. So I don't think she thought of him as a mentor, he just became a close person," said Ridley. "She's asking something of Luke, so immediately that puts him in a different place. But they both offer things in their way."

We'll see how Rey's training and her "flaws" benefit her in this latest adventure when Star Wars: The Last Jedi premieres in theaters on December 15.
