If you are tired of seeing poor Yamcha get beaten down, then you will want to pick up Dragon Garow Lee's Dragon Ball manga. Over the years, the anime fandom has come to collectively see Yamcha as a headstrong pretty boy with a penchant for dying, but Lee's spinoff manga tries to retcon that reputation. Last year, Weekly Shonen Jump left fans stunned (and in stitches) when a comical Dragon Ball spinoff manga about Yamcha was published. And, now, fans will get to watch as the Z-Fighter becomes a warrior whom even Goku would fear.

In the most recent issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, an advert revealed that the second chapter of Dragon Ball Side Story: The Case of Being Reincarnated as Yamcha will be released on Monday. The chapter is set to debut on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ website. At first, Lee had hoped the second chapter would be out by January, but a few delays pushed the much-awaited chapter back.

The untitled chapter will be the second of the three Lee has promised fans. When the spinoff first debuted, the story became a hit amongst Dragon Ball fans. The series tells the story of a high school boy who dies and gets reincarnated as Yamcha in the Dragon Ball universe. As a fan of the manga, the boy is able to train in preparation for all the villains who will challenge Earth, and he hopes to make Yamcha the ultimate hero of the story.

If you want to read up on the first chapter yourself, then you can find fan-translations online. Over on Reddit, the user @sailorspazz has provided their own take on the manga which can be read here.
