'Dragon Ball Super' Just Saw Goku Get Knocked Out

Is Goku Really Gone?
While things look grim for Universe 7 right about now, there's still a looming question to episode 33's big cliffhanger: how did Goku lose that fight?
Looking back at the fight footage, just before Goku started feeling weird, there's a questionable moment where Frost throws a seemingly lame punch which Goku easily blocks with the palm of his hand. In that animation, there's a little purple spark (see here) that could be interpreted as some kind of secret technique or attack that Frost used against Goku. Is Frost not the good guy that everyone thinks he is?
More importantly: If Frost has some kind of dirty trick up his sleeve, how will Champa and Beerus react to that revelation? Would it effect the results of Goku's elimination? And will the other Universe 7 fighters even survive long enough to find out?
prevnextSPOILERS For Upcoming Episodes
As fans of the Japanese or English sub versions of Dragon Ball Super already know, Frost is indeed revealed to be a cheat, after facing off against Piccolo in a heated battle. After being snitched on by Jaco, it's revealed that not only is Frost using a poising tool on his opponents, but that he's not at all the benevolent savior he pretends to be; he actually set up the attacks on the planets he "saved."
Frost is deemed the loser of the match with Piccolo, but Vegeta isn't having it, and challenges Frost in a fair fight. Vegeta beats Frost down but holds back from killing him. After Beerus discovers that Goku was poisoned by Frost's weapon, he petitions for Goku to be let back in to the tournament, but Goku has something else in mind: he wants to see Monaka fight!
Meanwhile, Frost shows himself to be even more dastardly when he tries to steal the tournament winnings for himself. But he doesn't get far, as his teammate Hit reveals his own mysterious power...
Dragon Ball Super airs on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. CST, and Toonami airs the English dub on Adult Swim Saturdays at 11:30 p.m.
