It looks like Twitch is ready to duel! After announcing a brand-new partnership with Crunchyroll, the streaming site announced plans to host a full-length marathon of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters at the end of this month.

Twitch confirmed it will have a month-long celebration of all things anime this month. The much-anticipated event will see Twitch stream marathons of RWBY courtesy of Rooster Teeth before Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters is shown in its entirety. The site will also have live talk shows, art streams, and anime content straight from New York Comic Con as it wraps this weekend.

"Anime is really hot on Twitch right now since our community is passionate about being able to interact around this kind of content," Annie Berrones, Director of Emerging Content Marketing at Twitch, said in a statement today.

"Given their engagement and enthusiasm, we are taking the experience one step further by featuring back-to-back marathons of RWBY and Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters, along with anime-driven entertainment from our content creators."

Earlier this year, Twitch's full partnership with Crunchyroll kicked off to massive success. The two companies teamed up to do anime marathons of hit series like Yuri on Ice and Mob Psycho.

If you are not familiar with Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters, then the Twitch marathon is the perfect place to catch up. The show was created back in 2000 and follows the life of Yugi Muto, a boy who winds up completing an ancient Egyptian relic called the Millennium Puzzle. The artifact allows Yugi to tap into a spirit called the Pharaoh, and the pair are forced to battle in various Duel Monsters tournaments when others begin to covet Yugi's mysterious puzzle.
