There are plenty of ships sailing around the Fairy Tail fandom, but fans know better than to pair Gray with anyone other than Juvia. The water mage doesn't take kindly to people touching what belongs to her, and it seems like Hiro Mashima knows it. After all, the artist did reveal what the child of the Fairy Tail wizards would look like.

Spoiler: He's precious.

As you can see below, a fan asked Mashima if he could draw what the child of Gray and Juvia would look like. The artist got to work right away, and fans can see that the offspring of the Gruvia ship is rather cute. The boy is looks very similar to Gray save for his wavier hair. The hairstyle may be short, but the child's texture all comes Juvia's flowing locks. The kid can also be seen wearing a fluffy collared jacket similar to the one Juvia wears at the beginning of her Fairy Tail tenure.

If you are not familiar with the Gruvia ship, then you only have to dive into the Fairy Tail fandom to learn more about the couple. While Mashima never had the pair profess their love for one another outright, the two mages did heavily hint at their shared feelings for one another throughout the series. While Gray may be a bit tsundere, he came to enjoy Juvia's passionate feelings for him despite her over-obsessive tendencies at times.

By the end of Fairy Tail, the pair have gone through plenty to together. Fans learned the pair truly had feelings for each other after they encounter Invel, the winter mage. A spell was performed on the two which tied them together, and Invel hoped it would cause Gray to kill Juvia. The heroine chooses to instead kill herself so that Gray wouldn't have to, but Gray also tries to commit suicide. The ice mage says he couldn't bear the thought of killing her, and fans were left sobbing by the end of the ordeal.

Fairy Tail may not have ended with Gray and Juvia shacking up, but Mashima has made his own plans clear for the couple. If the series ever gets a revival, then fans should expect to see Gray stop tip-toeing around his feelings for Juvia, and then the world may actually get to see the pair's kid brought into the world.

If you are not familiar with Fairy Tail, then it is about time you familiarized yourself with the story. The series follows a guild of young, powerful wizards who call Fairy Tail family. Set in a fictional Earth, a boy named Natsu teams up with an unlikely friend Lucy Heartfilia as the latter dreams of becoming a powerful wizard. To date, several million copies of Fairy Tail have been sold worldwide. Published by Del Ray in the west, there are over 35 million volumes of the manga in circulation at the moment. Kodansha Comics is now overseeing the release of Fairy Tail projects in the U.S. and other western territories, and the licensing return has helped the publisher amass popularity.
