'Hunter x Hunter' Spoilers Reveal New Nen Users

If you hadn't heard already, Hunter x Hunter has come off hiatus. The series made a comeback last week when Yoshihiro Togashi published its newest chapter. This week, the manga will return with chapter 372, and reported spoilers for the update seem to reveal some new Nen users.

So, as always, spoilers below!

Over on Reddit, the Hunter x Hunter fandom has gathered over a slew of supposed spoilers. The leak is made up of summarized dialogue from the manga's next chapter, and fans were quick to distill one important tidbit from the text. After all, the dialogue seems to point several Nen users within Prince Halkenberg's private army.

The spoilers point out two new Nen users who are not part of the Pro Hunters. Yuhirai and Shedule are revealed to have the power, and an inner monologue from Furykov makes it sound like Loberry can use Nen as well.

Yuhirai and Shedule are called out by Kurapika for their surprising power. When the blond-haired Hunter asked if they can use Nen, they panic. Kurapika asks the two if they are just testing him, and Shedule assures the boy that was not their intention. Kurapika says he will speak with one of the two after he finishes teaching the rest of Halkenberg's army about Nen, and Furykov outs the fourth member to himself.

"The other one, Loberry, has been detained by the Rooyal Army, so that leaves one more hidden Nen-user," the spoilers reveal. "This one is really good with their camouflage. The aura flowing from above their head is perfectly natural, and the flow of aura from their hands looks exactly like a novice."

Of course, fans of Hunter x Hunter will know why these Nen users are important. The manga is currently working through its 'Succession Contest' arc, and several of its deadly villains are connected with Nen. Muscles like Kurapika has been hired to protect a young prince against his siblings as the brood fights to the death for their father's throne. Each of the royals are gifted a Nen Beast that will kill any threat to them so long as it's not a fellow prince, but you can only see the creature if you can use Nen. If you want to make it past the beasts alive, you need to be a Nen user and anyone who has the gift is in high demand at the moment.

For those unfamiliar with Hunter x Hunter, the series was originally created by Yoshihiro Togashi. The story follows a young boy named Gon Freecss, who discovers that his previously thought to be dead father is in fact alive. Not only is he alive, he is a famous Hunter, a professional traveler who specializes in finding rare treasures, exploring unidentified lands, and hunting down dangerous individuals. Gon then decides that in order to meet his father he has to become a licensed Hunter, but in that journey gets wrapped up in way more strangeness than he ever could have anticipated.
