RoboCop Trailer: Homemade Shot-For-Shot Reenactment

The YouTube channel Cinefix has had a little fun with the upcoming RoboCop film. They've taken the film's trailer and done a homemade, shot-for-shot recreation. The mock trailer relies heavily on some well-crafted cardboard suits and the use of action figures and other toys for action scenes and large group shots. It's some pretty resourceful shooting. In RoboCop, when Alex Murphy (Joel Kinnaman) - a loving husband, father and good cop - is critically injured in the line of duty, the multinational conglomerate OmniCorp sees their chance for a part-man, part-robot police officer. RoboCop (the Hollywood film, not the homemade one) will be released in theaters February 12, 2014.
