Sheldon Kisses Amy on The Big Bang Theory

In a video interview, Jim Parson (Sheldon Cooper) talked about Sheldon's kiss with Amy in "The Locomotive Manipulation." "Frankly, it came out of anger," Parsons said. "He finally breaks and says, 'Well, you sold it as something that would be good for both of us and what you're complaining about, essentially, is the part that I'm supposed to enjoy. I'm enjoying it, and this is what's bothering you." Sheldon then goes a bit over the edge. "He goes on a tirade," said Parsons. "'Oh, you want romance?' He's kind of stumbling over these romantic guideposts he would think of. And kissing, kissing's romantic. The viewer, as well as me, was left to assume, I think, that he enjoyed it once he got there. Unexpectedly, unpremeditated, but, once those lips landed together, he was like, 'This is not bad.'" Parsons went on to say that both characters have grown in their relationship and that the kiss is an exciting event because it opens up a lot of stories that they plan on telling. The Big Bang Theory airs Thursday nights on CBS.
