Ashley Wood And T.P. Louise's The Beautiful War Coming From IDW Publishing

Beginning in May, Ashley Wood is returning to IDW Publishing for The Beautiful War, a bi-monthly collaboration with writer T.P. Louise, reuniting the team that created Lore (which is now in development as a motion picture). The Beautiful War centers on Audrey Howard, an industrialist who lets a green fairy out of a bottle and makes a deal no one could refuse for wine, women, song and America. "Any Ashley Wood book is an event that excites all of us at IDW," said Chris Ryall, IDW's Chief Creative Officer/Editor-in-Chief and Wood's co-creator on Zombies vs Robots, in development at Sony Pictures. "And T.P. Louise, who crafted such an epic tale in Lore, is back to do the same thing here." The Beautiful War won't be the only Ashley Wood project coming in 2014. June will see the launch of Adventure Kartel, an oversized art book featuring comic book stories, concept designs, and artwork by Wood.
