The original 1980s voice cast of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoons will reunite for an upcoming, hour-long special, EW reports. The magazine's website says that Cam Clarke, Rob Paulsen, Barry Gordon, and Townsend Coleman will reprise their original as Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo in Friday's episode "Wormquake!," which airs at 7 p.m. on Nickelodeon. A previous TV movie assembled the '80s version and more modern iterations of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in 2009, celebrating the property's 25th anniversary. In that incarnation, the characters were not voiced by their original actors. Celebrating thirty years of the Turtles has become a year-long exercise; besides the upcoming feature film adaptation from director Jonathan Liebesman and producer Michael Bay, the Heroes in a Half-Shell are also set for an upcoming 30th anniversary comic book one-shot featuring work from creators Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird.
