"Avengers: Age of Ultron" is set to begin filming in Seoul, South Korea this Sunday. Director Joss Whedon is really sorry about that. "I'm really grateful and excited to be filming in your city," Whedon told the citizens of Seoul in a video message (via CBM). "We're going to mess it up a bit and inconvenience some people for a few days and I apologize for that. I know that's like, I live in Los Angeles, it happens to me all the time and it's not fun." Whedon went on to say that he hoped that "Avengers: Age of Ultron" would help western audiences see Seoul in a new way. "I hope that it will be worth it," Whedon continued. "We love this movie, we love your city, and having the two of them together will show the city to the world in a light that I don't think it's been show, certainly not in America." "Avengers: Age of Ultron" will be shooting big action and chase scenes in Seoul, where the Avengers will battle Ultron to try to keep him away from advanced technology being developed at Korea's IT institute, located on an island in the Han river. In "Avengers: Age of Ultron," The Avengers reassemble to battle the sentient robot known as Ultron. "Avengers: Age of Ultron" comes to theaters May 1, 2015.
