Three actors from The Walking Dead have been promoted to series regulars for the show's fifth season, according to The Hollywood Reporter: Alana Masterson, Christian Serratos, and Andrew J. West. Masterson plays Tara, a woman encountered by the Governor following Woodbury's fall, who first appeared on The Walking Dead in November. Since she lost her family and saw The Governor kill Herschel, she has become attached to Glenn. Serratos plays Rosita, a character pulled from The Walking Dead comic book series. Rosita also first appeared in November, as part of Abraham's army. West plays Gareth, who made his first appearance in the season 4 finale this past Sunday. Gareth is the head of the group living at Terminus. "Seeing Gareth and Rick and the people of Terminus and our survivors go head-to-head is going to be interesting," said Robert Kirkman, creator of The Walking Dead, hinting at what is to come in the show's fifth season. "There is a very deep, dark and storied history to Terminus and how these people came to be that will be revealed in season five."
