IDW Bringing Monkeybrain's Knuckleheads To Print

IDW Publishing has announced that they will be bringing the Monkeybrain digital comics series Knuckleheads to print. Knuckleheads is about Trevor K. Tevinksi, who goes out to party one night and wakes up the next morning with powers he didn't have the day before. Turns out, he was visited by aliens who granted him a mysterious gift: The Crystal Fist. Of course, Trevor was too far gone that night to actually remember what the Crystal Fist is capable of and how to use it to its fullest potential, but it does let him cheat a videogames and boost free cable. And then a giant monster shows up. Knuckleheads comes from writer Brian WInkeler and artist Robert Wilson IV. Collected as Knuckleheads: First Contact, the action comedy stars Trev, his roommate Lance, his new friend Pizza Guy, and the "hot, drunk, English chick," Emma. Plus, robbers with guns, talking dogs, and killer aliens who keep interrupting them while they're trying to eat pizza and watch Netflix. "We love sitcoms like Arrested Development and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," said Winkeler, "our goal with Knuckleheads is to create a unique, character-based comedy inspired by our favorite shows." Knuckleheads: First Contact comes to print this June.
