Mulholland Books have debuted a trailer for Overwatch, the new legal/spy thriller from Marc Guggenheim, Executive Producer of Arrow and longtime comics-and-screen scribe. You can check it out embedded below. "I'm not much of an 'elevator pitch' writer," Guggenheim told ComicBook.com when asked to describe the book in a sentence or two. "Most of the things that come out of my head aren't really amenable to an elevator pitch.  Overwatch, however, is an exception.  I have a few different elevator pitches:  'It's what a love child between Tom Clancy and John Grisham would look like.'  'It's The Firm in the CIA.'  'It's Lincoln Lawyer meets Jack Ryan.'" Also, some family drama in the mix. Check out the trailer below, along with the official jacket text from Mulholland at bottom. Overwatch is in stores April 15.

Alex Garnett has spent his life in the shadow of his father, a former Chief of Staff and Solicitor General to two presidents who's been responsible for getting Alex every job he ever had, including his latest: attorney for the CIA. However, a seemingly routine litigation leads to a series of unexpected events, including poison, kidnapping, torture and murder. As casualties pile up, it becomes clear Alex is the final target in someone's blood-soaked attempts to cover their tracks.

With the help of a neurotic hacker, Alex unravels a conspiracy older than the CIA itself. The trail of clues reveals the presence of unseen forces that are bringing this nation to the brink of war—and Alex's life is only one of many in danger.
