Michael C. Hall Would Consider Playing Daredevil

Rumors have been circulating about who will play Matt Murdock in the upcoming Daredevil series on Netflix. First among them is the rumor that Michael C. Hall would be wearing the scarlet swashbuckler's costume. According to Vulture, the actor believes that the rumors are simply rumors, but would consider the role if offered. "I've heard them, but I think that's all they are — rumors," Hall said. "Don't misunderstand, I would definitely consider it … but I can't tell you any inside information, because I think they're nothing but rumors." The former Dexter star also said that he is currently focuses on projects that have a definitive end point, which might be a problem giving the nature of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. "I really am enjoying mixing it up a little bit, and I'm committing to things that have a foreseeable end in sight when I start them," admitted Hall, "but I wouldn't rule out the possibility of [a new series] happening at some point. But I'd have to read the script!" Daredevil will be the first of five television series airing on Netflix that are set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with series based on Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and a crossover Defenders series to follow. Daredevil is will be released in 2015.
