Powers Series Gets Three Cast Members

Deadline is reported that Eddie Izzard, Noah Tyler, and Olesya Rulin have been cast in the television adaptation of Powers.

Izzard, the cross-dressing standup comedian who has appeared recently in Hannibal, will play the role of Wolfe, the big bad Power locked up in the Shaft for years.

Tyler will paly Johnny Royalle, a teleporting criminal boss Power.

Rulin, a High School Musical alum, will play Calista, a street smart, teenage Power wannabe.

Powers is the direct-to-series television adaptation of Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming's comic book series, which blends superheroes, crime, and cop drama.

Powers will debut in December.
