Last month at San Diego Comic Con audiences were wowed with a trailer for the upcoming Justice League film, but that trailer also left a burning question in the minds of those who saw it and now fans have a lead on who the mystery hero isn't.

At the end of the trailer Alfred is shown speaking with someone that audiences can't see. Fans quickly began to speculate that the mystery visitor is Superman himself, Green Lantern or possibly even Supergirl. While we can't rule out Superman or Green Lantern—especially since DC has already said that a Green Lantern movie is in the works—information surfacing on Reddit seems to be solid evidence that Alfred's last hope is not the Girl of Steel.

In a post on the site's DCEU Leaks page, a poster shared that the Indian version of the trailer is pretty clear about the gender of the person Alfred is speaking to and that it's definitely not female. Here is what the post says:

ALFRED DEFINITELY NOT TALKING TO..... from DCEUleaks

If the post, which has been marked as verified, is accurate that means that Alfred's visitor can't be Supergirl. With Superman appearing in posters and promotional images for the movie, the Man of Steel is likely the secret hero. However, eagle-eyed viewers point to the unexplained green glow alongside Batman's Flying Fox as well as trailer narration saying "no Green Lanterns" as hints that we may get a Lantern in the League by film's end.

Justice League currently enjoys a 4.19 out of 5 on ComicBook.com's anticipation rankings. You can find the official description below.

In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League is in theaters November 17, 2017.
