The summer of 2017 has been one of the worst in recent Hollywood history and a disappointing summer means moviegoers are eager for fall releases. One of the films fans are excited about seeing? None other than Justice League.

Entertainment Weekly reports that following the massive success of Wonder Woman, Justice League is the second most anticipated film for fall according to Fandango's Most Anticipated Fall Movies Survey. The survey, which polled more than 1,000 movie fans, saw Thor: Ragnarok take the top spot with Blade Runner 2049, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, and It rounding out the top five.

Justice League fared well in other categories on the survey as well. According to the survey fans are excited to see Ben Affleck reprise his role as Batman in the film, as the actor came in fifth on the Most Anticipated Actor list while Gal Gadot is the Most Anticipated Actress of the fall, with fans looking forward to seeing even more Wonder Woman.

The survey shows that excitement for Justice League doesn't seem to have been diminished by Zack Snyder dropping out of the project and leaving Joss Whedon to take the helm, which is something that our own rankings show as well. In fact, in ComicBook.com's anticipated rankings, Justice League just edges out Thor: Ragnarok with a 4.20/5 compared with the Marvel offering's 4.18/5. However, Justice League still manages to sit in the number two spot behind Avengers: Infinity War which is expected in 2018.

Fans will get to find out if the anticipation was worth it, and if Justice League can live up to Wonder Woman's success, when the movie hits theaters on November 17th.
