One Pretty Little Liars alum will be making their way to Supergirl's newest season.
Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Chad Lowe (Pretty Little Liars, 24, Life Goes On) will be appearing in the fourth episode of the season, titled 'The Faithful'. The Emmy-winning actor will be playing Thomas Coville, whose character description can be found below.
"[Coville is] a charismatic religious leader with a surprising connection to Supergirl — his cult basically worships the Girl of Steel. He’s a deeply spiritual man, committed to preaching his faith and transforming his followers’ lives."
This Supergirl appearance isn't Lowe's first turn in a superhero property. The actor previously voiced Billy Batson/Shazam in the fan-favorite Young Justice, and also appeared in a 1998 episode of the Superman cartoon.
If that isn't enough, Lowe will also step behind the camera in season three. After directing episodes of Pretty Little Liars, Bones, and Life in Pieces, Lowe will helm the seventh episode of Season 3, which is titled 'Wake Up.' With Lowe's episode falling right before the four-show crossover, fans are sure to speculate what that title could possibly mean for Team Supergirl.
Lowe is the latest string of directors to be lending their talents to Supergirl Season 3. Kevin Smith will be back to helm the fifth episode the season, and gave fans a preview of a 'Sanvers' scene in his episode.
Supergirl premieres Monday, October 9th, at 8/7c, on The CW.
