Warner Bros. has released a batch of new, stylish character posters for the forthcoming Justice League movie, depicting each member of DC's premier superhero team in profile, with a background that brings out each character's colors.
You can check them out in the attached image gallery.
As he has been for most of the run-up to Justice League, Henry Cavill's Superman is absent here; while the initial art featured Superman, and so does the Justice League toy line, the character's death at the end of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is still mostly being treated as the status quo, with his resurrection being ostensibly a surprise.
The film's villains have not been used for marketing much, either; as with Batman v Superman, Wonder Woman, and Suicide Squad, the plan seems to be to keep them largely a mystery for as long as possible.
With about six weeks to go before the film's release, it looks like Justice League is headed into its big promotional push. DC Entertainment executives conducted a wide-ranging interview today, and the release of the posters seemingly coincides with reports that fans will get a final trailer in about a week's time.
Justice League will be in theaters on November 17, the 25th anniversary of Superman's death in the comics.
