'Justice League': In Search Of The Snyder Cut Fan Trailer Released

DC fans are still holding out hope for a Zack Snyder cut of Justice League, and one such fan is taking that hope to a whole different level with a new trailer.

The trailer is called Justice League: In Search of the Snyder Cut, and was created by YouTube user Film Gob. It features Knightmare Batman from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hunting down the oh so elusive version of Justice League. When he's scouting the battlefield with his goggles he sees various Google searches of Zack Snyder cut, which transitions into Batman being led to the truck with the Kryptonite.

Instead of Kryptonite though it is a copy of the Justice League Blu-ray, zooming in on the "Bonus Scene" sticker. He, of course, is double-crossed at this point, which segues into various scenes from the final theatrical version of Justice League as Batman screams "noooooo".

It's actually pretty entertaining, though a bit weird in parts. There are two standout sequences in the trailer, the first being when Batman is tied up and hanging from the ceiling. In the film, this is where Superman comes down to meet him, but here Joss Whedon's face is superimposed on Supes. That is, of course, a reference to Zack Snyder leaving the film and bringing in Joss Whedon to take over.

The second standout moment is later in the trailer, during another BvS sequence. At one point in the movie, Batman wakes up to some sort of opening in space time. It is Flash who is reaching out to him, telling him that she's the key, with most deducting that to mean Lois Lane. Here though Flash is replaced with a picture of Kiersey Clemons, who was cast as Iris West in the DCEU. Her part in Justice League was cut out, despite being mostly filmed, and it is unknown if she will still be part of the upcoming Flashpoint film.

Justice League currently holds a 60.76 on ComicBook.com's composite rankings, with a 3.69 out of 5 on the user rankings, placing it in the #49 spot all-time.
