Quickly following the Death Sworn Viktor skin that was previewed on Tuesday as the first of three Harrowing skins, Zed and Katarina have also been confirmed to receive the Death Sworn skins as well.
The Halloween-themed skins swap out the champions' usual looks for some ghostly blue and several sinister-looking weapons. Viktor's new skin was displayed in greater detail through League's Instagram and Facebook accounts, but from the turnaround images for each champion that were posted on the PBE boards, they all seem to be pretty attractive options if you're looking to change up some of your favorite mid laners.
Each of the skins are currently available on the PBE for players to test them out before they go live, their release presumably happening in Patch 7.21. A PBE boards post for each of the champions' skins detailed some of the effects and features that can be expected from them along with several images for each skin:
- New models and textures - Dark and mysterious!
- New VFX - Ghostly blue and green particles!
- New SFX - Macabre, spectral SFX!
- New animations - New recall animation and modified animations on several spells!
- New models and textures - Katarina is enrobed in unearthly garb, and hold accompanying blades!
- New VFX - Teal and pink spectral particles!
- New SFX - Spooky and spectral SFX, as well as VO processing!
- New animations - New recall animation, and new hair animations!
- New models and textures - A haunting new look for the Master of Shadows.
- New VFX - Ghoulish blue and green wispy particles!
- New SFX - Ghastly, spectral SFX!
- New animations -New recall animation and modified animations on several spells!
The Death Sworn skins are the first of the Harrowing event that League players have seen thus far, but some details in Viktor's video preview point to more changes on the way. Summoner's Rift looked quite different with spooky map effects added to the battlegrounds, and with this being the first Halloween since missions are available, players can likely anticipate some Harrowing missions and loot as well.
All of the Death Sworn skins are currently set to cost 1350 RP.
