Regardless of which side of the fence you stand on when it comes to Warner Bros. casting of Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, the news has inspired some pretty funny Internet memes. Most of the Internet memes seem to take one of two directions. They either play off the fact that Jesse Eisenberg doesn't fit the traditional look of Lex Luthor or off of his past role as Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network. There are lots of photoshop images circulating showing exactly how awkward that Eisenberg looks as a bald man. Our favorite photoshop image is a first look poster, which shows Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jonah Hill as The Penguin, and Michael Cera as The Joker. It has the tagline, "These supervillains are going to pull off one more job before they head to college." The image has been favorited on twitter over 1,500 times. The various plays on Facebook are also rather entertaining, including a look at a Lexbook logo, and Eisenberg reading a note pointing out that he's not even bald.
