The CW have released the official synopsis for the upcoming, April 23 episode of Arrow, titled "Seeing Red." It's pretty spoilery, so be warned. In the episode, they'll be picking up on threads left behind from last night's episode, when an enraged Roy left Team Arrow, blaming Oliver for Thea's kidnapping by Slade. Here, though, Roy is apparently a threat to everyone -- even Thea, who up until now could keep him in check -- and it plays out in a deadly way. ROY SPINS OUT OF CONTROL — The Mirakuru sends Roy (Colton Haynes) into an uncontrollable rage and he unleashes on the city. After Roy's deadly fight with a police officer, Oliver (Stephen Amell) realizes the mirakuru has taken over Roy completely and must figure out a way to stop him. Things get more complicated after Sara (Caity Lotz) declares that Roy is too far gone and the only way to stop him is to kill him. Meanwhile, Thea (Willa Holland) believes she can breakthrough to Roy so she goes on camera at Moira's (Susanna Thompson) campaign rally to lure him to Verdant. Her ploy works but after Roy attacks Thea, Team Arrow unleashes on him. Doug Aarniokoski directed the episode written by Wendy Mericle & Beth Schwartz (#220). There are two dueling pieces of information at play which might impact how this all plays out: The first is that the weapons gathered at S.T.A.R. Labs and/or a "cure," if that's what they might be looking for, for the Mirakuru's effects could be present coming out of "The Man Under the Hood," and if so, they could test it on Roy to give a non-lethal way of stopping him when he goes nuts. Second, and more alarming for fans, are the rumors of a funeral scene having been filmed for "Streets of Fire," the episode immediately following this one.
