Diablo 4 Season 3 Update Full of Bug Fixes, Patch Notes Revealed

02/01/2024 02:42 pm EST

Diablo 4 Season 3 has been out for a little over a week, and the early reports from fans are mixed. Fortunately, developer Blizzard has been consistently dropping new updates to iron out some of those issues, while also working to get The Gauntlet implemented in the middle of the season. That's the new Challenge Rift-like weekly dungeons that the team promised, and while the feature isn't ready for primetime yet, Blizzard has dropped a substantial new patch full of bug fixes for Diablo 4 Season 3.

Some of the biggest changes in this patch are the updates to various affixes. Most notable is the nerf to the Vampiric affix, which Blizzard says it is still tuning to help players identify when monsters are stealing their health. The Suppressor affix has also been slightly adjusted, tuning its uptime down significantly. The update also includes several buffs to the Seneschal's abilities, making one of the standout features in Season 3 much more useful in combat. There are also a host of bug fixes addressing nearly everything you can imagine in Diablo 4.

Below, you'll find the full patch notes for Update 1.3.1. Diablo 4 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms.

GAME UPDATES

The amount of health a monster with the Vampiric affix can heal for has been reduced.

Developer's Note: In a future patch, we'll make an additional improvement to the Vampiric affix. Projectile attacks from monsters—like a Khazra's thrown spear—will gain a visual effect when they are imbued with the Vampiric affix. This will make it easier to identify which projectiles can heal the monster.
