Although anyone could have made an educated guess that we’d get a third installment to Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, fans were long unsure if writer/director James Gunn would return to helm the movie.
To put fans at ease just prior to the release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Gunn released a heartfelt message to fans revealing that he, in fact, would be back to return to both write and direct the franchise’s third movie.
