There have been a lot of conflicting reports as to Ben Affleck's filming status with Batman Vs. Superman. Some rumors have suggested that he might have dropped out of the picture, but we've heard nothing that supports those unsubstantiated rumors. In fact, Ben Affleck's wife Jennifer Garner confirmed on Friday an interview with Detroit Sports 105.1 that he is indeed still a part of the project. When exactly Ben Affleck is scheduled to start filming is a little more unclear. Some recent reports have suggested that the entire main Batman Vs. Superman cast was summoned to start production in Michigan right away and that Affleck had to drop out of directing The Middle Man pilot as a result. Both director Zack Snyder and star Henry Cavill have been spotted in Michigan in recent weeks. While Garner doesn't say exactly when Affleck starts filming, she does seem to be suggesting that he starts shooting this summer.  Regardless of the exact start date, she definitely confirms the two of them will be there all summer as part of his filming. "I'll be there [Detroit] this summer… yep, all summer," said Garner. " My husband [Ben Affleck] is [filming]. Batman is shooting and…or whatever it is called. I don't know what it's called…Superman with Batman, whatever it is. But he is shooting this summer, so we'll be there." It's interesting that Garner doesn't even know what the film is called. It's probably a good indication that Warner Bros. might still be undecided on the title and that they aren't just keeping it secret from the public. Batman Vs. Superman is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on May 6, 2016.
