Christopher Meloni, a veteran of True Blood, the Harold & Kumar films and the Law & Order franchise, will join Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. Meloni, who will also appear in Zack Snyder's upcoming Man of Steel, will appear in the movie as a police officer, reports Deadline. Not much else is yet known. Whether the cop in question will be dirty or not is anyone's guess, since this is a film noir based on a Frank Miller book, after all. The story also quotes Meloni's new co-star, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as saying "I love how the first movie uses VFX, not to make fake things look real, but to create a heightened world unburdened by the look and feel of reality. Plus, nobody makes a badass like [co-director Robert] Rodriguez." Directed by Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller from source material written and drawn by Miller, Sin City: A Dame to Kill for will be in theaters October 4.
