Superman Unbound Trailer Hits the Web

Warner Animation and DC Entertainment have provided The Nerdist with the first trailer for Superman Unbound, the next DC Universe animated feature film. Starring White Collar's Matt Bomer as Superman, Fringe's John Noble as Brainiac, Castle's Stana Katic as Lois Lane and Molly Quinn as Supergirl, the film is based on the Superman: Brainiac story by Geoff Johns--released as the second half of the Superman: Last Son of Krypton trade paperback collection. The first half of that book is the Last Son story by Johns, Superman: The Movie filmmaker Richard Donner and artist Adam Kubert. Part of that story will be reprinted in a Free Comic Book Day release dedicated to Superman this year and seems to be informing a lot of the story of Man of Steel.
