Angry Birds Trailer Has Been Classified

The trailer for the Angry Birds movie has been classified by the British Board of Film Classification. With a runtime of 2 minutes and 9 seconds, it will take more time to watch the trailer than it would to play through most levels of the game it's based on.

Details about the computer-animated film's plot haven't been revealed, but the movie is based on the Angry Birds series of mobile games developed by Finnish studio Rovio. The games chronicle an ongoing war between spherical birds and bulbous pigs, with the player using a slingshot to send various birds on kamikaze missions against their enemy.

The Angry Birds movie is directed by Clay Kaytis and Fergal Reailly, from a script by Jon Vitti. The voice cast includes Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Bill Hader, and Peter Dinklage.
