Birdman Brings Together Comics Movie Veterans Keaton, Norton, Emma Stone

star Michael Keaton will join The Incredible Hulk's Edward Norton and The Amazing Spider-Man's Emma Stone in Birdman, a new film from Alejandro González Iñárritu, Deadline reports. The famed Mexican director will tackle the dark comedy, which revolves around a washed-p actor who once played an iconic superhero. The actor, played by Keaton, must overcome his ego and family trouble as he prepares to mount a Broadway play in a bid to reclaim past glory. Norton will reportedly play the egotistical leading man who sees Keaton's star rising again and can't stand to share the spotlight, so attempts to stand in the hero's way. No word regarding whether Iñárritu will sign on for the inevitable Harvey Birdman, Attorney At Law sequel.
