Gillette Asks How The Man Of Steel Shaves

In the trailers for the Man of Steel movie, Henry Cavill is shown sporting a full beard and mustache as Clark Kent. The scene has led to much speculation among fans as to how Superman shaves, considering that he is invulnerable. Gillette is taking advantage of this fan debate by launching a new promotional campaign with Warner Bros. that poses the question, "How does the Man of Steel shave?" As part of the promotional campaign, Gillette has created a video at the website HowDoesHeShave.com. The video features a number of celebrities, including director Kevin Smith, Mythbusters co-hosts Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman, Bill Nye the Science Guy, and the Big Bang Theory's Mayim Bialik. Each of the celebrities will present their theories on how Superman shaves, and fans will be allowed to vote on their favorite theories. In the comic books, Superman shaves or cuts his hair by using his heat vision and a reflective piece of metal from the rocket ship that transported him to Earth. However, films don't always follow the comic books exactly, so it's still up in the air as to how Superman shaves in the Man Of Steel movie. The Man Of Steel is scheduled to be released in movie theaters in the United States on June 14, 2013.
