Harry Potter Spinoff Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them To Be Released November 18, 2016

The Harry Potter spinoff film, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, will come to theaters on November 18, 2016. The film, the first in a new trilogy, is based on the Harry Potter companion book of the same name. The book is presented as a real world copy of the fictional book used by Harry, Hermione and Ron in the Harry Potter series. The book is said to have been written by the wizard Newt Scamander. The films will follow Scamander, who is traveling the world and trying to catalogue it for his book. The first film is set in New York City in 1920. J.K. Rowling, the creator of Harry Potter and actual writer of Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them, will make her screenwriting debut by penning the film's script. It will be her first time returning the world of Harry Potter since 2007. No director has been attached to film as of yet.
