This Friday, Little Boy hits theaters nationwide. ComicBook.com had the chance to speak with Jakob Salvati, the title character's actor, in an exclusive interview. The film follows a young man who some call "Little Boy," and others call Pepper Busbee. Pepper is a young boy with a big heart and a lot of faith. His hero? His father.

Little Boy's world comes crashing down when his father is sent off to fight in World War II. "When his father has to go to war, he tries everything in his power to get his father back through faith," Salvati says. For those who have watched the trailer, they know that Pepper certainly has groundbreaking faith (literally). Does he actually have super powers though? Well, Jakob won't tell. "I'm keeping it a secret!" We'll have to go watch to find out.

Little Boy stars Kevin James, Michael Rapaport and other accomplished actors. As for Salvati, an accomplished actor himself considering he is only 11-years-old, says, "They're amazing people, amazing actors… It's hard not to be their friend." Of course, if you're wondering whether or not Kevin James makes him laugh on set... "All the time," Salvati says.

Of course, we couldn't let Salvati off the hook without asking him about super heroes. His favorite super hero movie? The Avengers, narrowly edging out The Incredible Hulk, his favorite character whom he would love to play one day.

Little Boy hits theaters April 24. If Salvati's enthusiasm is any indication, it will be fun!
