Kick-Ass 2 Trailer Release Date Info

While all the talk has been about Iron Man 3 this week with Disney releasing an incredible new trailer, there are quite a few other comic book movies scheduled for this summer. While Man of Steel has also wowed fans with an excellent trailer, fans have been waiting anxiously for a first look at footage from The Wolverine and Kick-Ass 2. We're happy to report that it looks like the wait for a Kick-Ass 2 trailer at least will finally be over this upcoming week. On March 8, Kick-Ass creator Mark Millar tweeted, "KICK-ASS 2 MOVIE TEASER IS HERE!!!!!" While the link turned out to just be to a forum post about the Kick-Ass 2 Prelude graphic novel, Millar also noted, "CINEMATIC movie trailer is just having the very final FX finished. Will be with us all very, very shortly." Now, Kick-Ass 2 news has retweeted, "Attention: Red band trailer for #KickAss2 on Wednesday March 13 at 9:30 am in https://MTV.com  LA Time" The tweet originally came from United International Pictures Chile, which sounds like a pretty reliable source. The Kick-Ass 2 trailer was also recently classified by the Alberta Film Ratings Board and revealed to have a running time of 2:05, so every thing seems to be backing up this release time of Wednesday, March 13 at 9:30 AM PT on MTV.com as being legit. Kick-Ass 2 is scheduled to be released in movie theaters in the United States on August 16, 2013.
