Kick-Ass 2 Trailer Update

Last week, Comicbook.com reported that it looked like the first trailer for Kick-Ass 2 would be released this week. That information has now been confirmed by Kick-Ass 2 director Jeff Wadlow. On March 11, Jeff Wadlow tweeted, "Underoos still on? Good, 'cause domestic trailer hits Wednesday morning at 9 AM PST! More goodness later in the month... #kickass2" Kick-Ass 2 star Chloë Grace Moretz also confirmed the news today, tweeting "Cannot wait!! #TheKICKASS2 red band trailer will debut tomorrow! Wednesday, March 13th at 9AM PST on @MTV .com!! Go check it when it's out!" While initial reports had put the Kick-Ass 2 trailer release time at 9:30 AM PST, it looks like fans will actually get the trailer thirty minutes earlier at 9 AM PST. Of course, Wadlow's tweets raises another question. What is the more goodness later in the month? Well, the Albert Film Ratings board has recently classified not one but two different Kick-Ass 2 trailers. The first Kick-Ass 2 trailer has a running time of two minutes and five seconds, while the second Kick-Ass 2 trailer has a running time of two minutes and twenty-three seconds. We wonder if Wadlow's hint might be that there will be a Kick-Ass 2 theatrical trailer released with G.I. Joe: Retaliation at the end of March. Kick-Ass 2 is set to be released in movie theaters in the United States on August 16, 2013. Update: Added the trailer since it's now online.
