This week, The Walking Dead stars Steven Yeun, Melissa McBride, and Norman Reedus appeared on a special edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live from Austin, Texas. Kimmel greeted them and addressed McBride's fear of being in front of so many people by joking that it's her show that does all the scaring.

The group talked about their experience in Austin thus far, Reedus having family there, Yeun having only ordered room service and hiding in his hotel room, and McBride having worked on Walker Texas Ranger in the 90s. The joke wrote itself there, but Kimmel teased, "Does everything you work on have walkers in it?"

Later in the discussion, Kimmel got the cast members to start talking about both The Walking Dead comics and television series. He asked Yeun if he was aware that Glenn gets killed brutally with a baseball bat in the comic books and why there is so much foreshadowing of that lately in the television series. Yeun joked back, "Glenn loves to touch bats. Just loves to touch them, handle them..."

Kimmel also asked the group their thoughts on job security and whether any of them have ever been told, "You'll be around for three seasons." Reedus quickly answered, "No!" He went on to tell Kimmel and the audience that when they get a new script, they'll "run to the back and pray that we're in it." Yeun added his two cents on getting a script by sharing the importance of each: "it could be, like, the middle of surgery," and he'll just drop everything to read it. "Not that I do surgery," he joked.
